It's Like Writing a Bike ... Err ... Riding a Bike

I've been reading more blogs lately and I think that I may be going about it the wrong way; my posts—when I decide to write them—are a bit too long. It seems that most blog posts are a bit shorter and more to the point. People usually update more when they have something small to say rather than go on and on.

So, that's what I'm going to try and do from now on—write shorter posts, but post more. That doesn't mean that I'm going give up my Top 56 TV Shows of All Time, and to make myself a bigger hypocrite, those entries will be just as long as they have been. It's just that if I have a few spare moments, you'll get my thoughts on things other than just television.

I know that this blog has had more changes of direction than a blindfolded pilot, but lately I've missed writing and I wanted to get back to doing so. The problem was I hated confining myself into the TV-only box because I don't have as much time as I used to write and research each post. Then it hit me, become more generalized; as I've been driving around or trying to get some sleep, I've been thinking of some good ideas for (what I hope will be) interesting essays.

I'm still going to try and keep the personal stuff to a minimum, but pretty much everything else is an open book: sports, books, television, movies ... anything that I can think of, I'll write about.

So in the words of Liz Lemon, “I'm back, nerds.”
